This is a daily tour to Birgi village, İzmir is officially one of the “Best Tourism Villages” of 2022.In the list announced by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) were awarded 32 villages from 18 countries around the world. We pick you from your door at 08:00 am and head to Birgi. The ride will take 2 hours. On arrival at Saliha Hanim Tas Konak we will watch a show of “Efe”. Efe is a term used for the people who live in Izmir. They have their own traditional clothes and dance. You will be overwhelmed by watching this amazing show. The Efe show will take 30 minutes and perhaps you can taste some home-made wine at the house while taking videos and pictures of the show. After your guide will take you through the village and tell you about its historical, cultural, architectural and gastronimical background. Then you will be taken to a local restaurant where you can try Odemis Kofte which has been made hundreds of years down to the village. After lunch you have your free time to discover, mingle with locals and perhaps do some shopping.
