THE ITINERARY
We start to collect our group at 8:30 am and leave Didim at 09:00 am. Our first stop will be Priene which played a big role in the history of both Greeks and Romans. The Athena Temple and Amphitheatre are the main highlights of the site, there are many other ruins are worth to be seen, though. Then we will head to the Miletus which was the centre of science and philosophy once. Anaximenes (geographer) and Thales( founder of lunar eclipse) were two very important examples of the site. Miletus was the first colonised city in Anatolia by Greeks. The busy harbour of the city brought a huge wealth during the Roman period. The Emperors and their wives invested a lot to the city thus you will see relics that are named after them. The Faustino Baths are one of the example. The amphitheatre is the main highlight of the site there are many other relics which are preserved at the museum that’s why we will head to the museum after we do a tour at the site. Afterwards we will drive to Apollo Temple. On arrival you will be given free time to have some lunch or drinks. Then your guide will take you inside the Temple and give a deep historical background of the site. After some free time for photography you will be take back to your hotels or properties.
