1 - DAY 1 LEAVING DİDİM AND PERGAMON TOUR
We start to collect our group at 07:30 am. We will leave Didim at 08:00 am and drive to Pergamon. The site is called Bergama today. Once it was the capital of Pergamon Kingdom who ruled the Aegean and Mediterranean costs of Turkey around 150 years between the late 2nd and early 1st centuries. They built some very important relics at their time. Zeus Temple, the steepest amphitheatre of antiquity, Pergamon library where the parchment was invented and so on. On arrival we will get a cable car through which you can watch and see how big the site is. Afterwards you will go through the site with your guide and enjoy an unforgettable tour at Pergamon. Then we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterwards we will drive to city Bursa two and half hours. On arrival we will get the cable car for going up to the Mount Uludag. Here on mount you will have opportunity to get snow bikes and enjoy some other winter activities. We will call the day at 18:00 pm and get the cable car back to city. On arrival we will have dinner at the Iskender Kebap Restaurant where Iskender Kebap was found. After dinner we will go to hotel. Check in. overnight at Bursa.
2 - DAY 2 BURSA TOUR
Today we will depart at 09:00 and start our Bursa Tour. Bursa was the first capital of Ottoman Empire therefore you can see the earliest Ottoman Relics down at the city. We will first head to Green Mosque and Green Tomb. Then we will drive to Koza Han which is a part of Grand Bazaar which was built in 16th century during Ottoman empire. Bursa was the first place where the Ottomans brought the silk from China. Being very green Bursa was a good place to grow silk. And the silk was introduced to the Europeans from here as well. So you will be able to find good quality and cheap goods down here. You will have couple hours to get lost in the bazaar and do your shopping. Then we will meet in front of Ulu Mosque which is one of the biggest mosque built at 15th century. After we will drive to Gallipoli. Arrive in Canakkale and check in. Overnight at Canakkale.
3 - DAY 3 TROY TOUR AND DRIVE BACK HOME
Today after breakfast we will get a ferry and pass through the Dardanelles to Gallipoli where the First World War started. The war started 16th of December 1915 and ended 06th of January 1916 on the peninsula. Ottoman empire was allied with Germans against Great Britain and its allies. The both sides lost more than 500.000 casualties. Your guide will give you general details about war and start looking at the relics on Peninsula. These are Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair, Cape Hellas, Turkish Memorials. We will finish our tour around 1 am at peninsula and have our lunch. Afterwards we will get a ferry back to Asian side and drive half an hour to Troy. The site has been going through many historical eras therefore there are more than nine historical layers which are open to visit. While going through all these layers your guide will give you a good explanation of mythological and historical aspects of Troy. After we are done you can go into the Trojan Horse which was brought to the site at 1976 when the site was picked as World Heritage Site. You can have a coffee or buy some souvenirs at the museum shop and get ready to head back to Didim. We will get back to Didim around 22:00 pm.
