Today we pick you from your hotel & property couple hours before your flight. On arrival your guide and van will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel at Sultanahmet Square. After you check in you will have your free time in Istanbul. Your hotel is very central from where you can walk to the Sultanahmet Square easily and even can get the public tram to Taksim Square. Perhaps you can have your dinner at the Square at Historical Sultanahmet Köftecisi (meatball). Overnight at Istanbul.
Today your guide will meet you at the lobby at 09:00 am. Then you will walk top the Hippodrome where the Romans did chariot races. The obelisks at the site are worth to see. From there you will walk to the Blue Mosque which was built at 16th century by Sultan Ahmet whose name is given to the square as well. After you will walk to Hagia Sophia which was built at 5th century by Justinian the First. The enormous dome and coloumns will overwhelm you. The golden mosaics are still in a good condition which will take your eyes. Afterwards we will stop at a local restaurant to have some lunch. After the lunch we will head to the Topkapı Palace where the 24 Sultans used to rule almost three continents. The tresury especially the Spoon Diamond which is one of the biggest in the world will make your day. Then we will walk to the Grand Bazaar. This Bazaar was initially built by Romans. It was expanded by Ottomans and since 16th century more than 4000 shops have been selling many different things from here. You have two options here for ending your day. You can either walk back to the hotel by yourself or your guide can wait for you until you are done. Overnight at Istanbul.
Today we will pick you by bus down to the Bosphorus. On arrival, we will pick a public ferry and have a two hours’ cruise tour. You will be able to see the Ottoman palaces, castles, mansions, bridges and greenery of Bosphorus. After the cruise tour, we will drive to Dolmabahce palace in which the Ottoman Sultans ruled three continents at last three hundred years of Empire. Then we will proceed to Galata Bridge to have a tasty fish for lunch. After the lunch we will drive up to the Camlica Hill where you can see both sides of the city Istanbul and figure out how big the city is. Then we will drive back to European side and visit the Egyptian Bazaar which has been a spice bazaar and Turkish delights and so on. Overnight in Istanbul.
